Life In India

After coming back from UK, I almost lost contact with all of my friends there, so I thought I need to get back in touch with all of them, and hence created this blog. I sincerely wish all my friends do participate in this blog and let me know the happenings on their end.

Life in India is not as easy as what I thought it would be. It does take some time to adjust. Personally, I think Hyderabad is a better place than Pune. When I first came to Pune, I really didn’t find this city comfortable. Moreover there was a bomb blast at a bakery which is just 100 mts away from our hotel, so I got totally disturbed.

I can’t go anywhere on my own, including shopping. I feel that I became totally dependent on Suren. The scene was different in UK; I was doing all my stuff on my own. I miss the Library, town centre, walking, and interactions with friends in Maidenhead. If people know the two sides of the coin, then it is always difficult to choose the better side; comparison exists all the time. But one thing I like in Pune is the apartment where we are living and the park in our apartment is very nice. Every day we come and sit in the park after the dinner and such evenings are very pleasant. One good thing is there are so many historical/religious places to visit near Pune. Hope all works out in the next three months and then we shall be in a position to decide whether to go to Hyderabad or to stay back in Pune.
